ACE PLACE LEARNING CENTER (ACE Place) - ACE Place is an outreach school that provides alternative choices in education. This Learning Center serves approx. 120 students from grade 7 to 12 and has a professional staff of 7 teachers.
1.0 FTE PROBATIONARY PRINCIPAL
Assignment includes: a school leadership/principal role which includes an approximate 0.40 FTE teaching assignment.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, student-centered educator possessing the following qualifications:

Successful teaching and administrative experience and demonstrated ability to meet the Leadership Quality Standard.

A Masters is strongly preferred.

Team-oriented leadership style emphasizing collaborative decision-making.
-
Well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
- A strong understanding of pedagogy and ability to build staff capacity.

Proven record of teaching excellence in areas of student achievement, student assessment, and responding to instruction and intervention.

Knowledge of the importance of community engagement, and the ability to foster school, parent, and community relationships.

Understanding of Low German Mennonite culture, and English Language Learning a strong asset.
