DZ Boom Truck Driver (Knuckle Boom Crane)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
What You'll Do
- Operate a company flatbed truck equipped with a knuckle boom (articulated) crane.
- Safely transport and deliver marble, granite, quartz, and other natural stone products throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
- Load, unload, and position heavy stone materials using the knuckle boom crane while following all safety procedures.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule.
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, circle checks, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Properly secure loads in accordance with Ministry of Transportation and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Represent the company professionally and provide outstanding customer service at every delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Valid DZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Valid Knuckle Boom Crane Certification (Mandatory).
- 3–5 years of experience operating a DZ boom truck with a knuckle boom crane.
- Previous experience delivering marble, granite, stone, or other heavy building materials is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of load securement, safe lifting practices, and crane operation.
- Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and daily inspections.
- Comfortable working in a fabrication or warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and machinery.
- Strong communication skills in English.
