The Career Foundation is supporting a hiring event for full-time Security Guard positions with opportunities available at various client sites across the GTA.
The hiring event will be held in Etobicoke, but successful candidates may be placed at different locations across the GTA. Candidates should be prepared to travel to their assigned work location.
Job Description
We are looking for reliable, professional, and customer-focused Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring site activities, controlling access, and responding appropriately to security-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Conduct access control and verify individuals entering and exiting the property
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, where applicable
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
- Prepare and complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and the public
- Monitor and report suspicious or unusual activity
- Perform regular site inspections and patrols
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and emergency services when required
- Follow all company and client security policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Previous security experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be available for full-time employment
- Must be willing to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on site requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel to assigned job sites across the GTA
