About the role: As the Pizzaiolo at National Pines Golf Club, you will craft high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen while ensuring excellent service for our members and guests. You’ll work collaboratively with the team, maintain food safety and quality standards, manage inventory, and contribute to menu creativity, all while supporting a positive, team-oriented environment.
Purpose Statement: deliver well-prepared, consistent dishes, ensuring every guest enjoys the level of quality they've come to expect.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to perfection using wood-fired or gas ovens.
- Maintain proper oven temperatures and cooking times to meet National Pines Golf Club standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
- Manage ingredient inventory, monitor portion control, minimize waste, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and contribute to new pizza recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Work quickly in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple orders, and coordinate with the front-of-house team for timely fulfillment.
- Directly serve members and guests on the outdoor patio.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a pizza chef/pizzaiolo, ideally with wood-fired oven experience.
- Skilled in various doughs, pizza-making techniques, and kitchen food safety/sanitation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a passion for food quality.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team and deliver great guest experiences.
- Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Need:
- Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced, high-heat outdoor kitchen exposed to varying weather.
- Prepare pizzas safely using wood/gas ovens while maintaining clean, sanitary workstations.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team during varied shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
- Follow club protocols and maintain a professional appearance representing National Pines Golf Club.
