Raise is currently hiring a Senior Talent Management Advisor on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior Talent Management Advisor supports internal clients in delivering complex programs and initiatives that are strategic in nature and have substantial implications for the organization’s performance. Talent Management (TM) focuses on diagnosing, designing and implementing talent programs, processes, projects, initiatives, capabilities and culture.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the design, development, execution, and sustainment of practical, fit-for-purpose programs such as talent assessments and succession planning, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, survey/listening strategy, early career development, leadership and employee development programs

Partner with HR Business Partners to communicate, deploy and continuously improve Talent Management programs and processes to ensure effective delivery and client experience that achieves intended outcomes

Partner with other internal HR COEs to report on and provide insights into our talent programs including our leadership pipeline based on analysis of data and metrics

Identify opportunities to leverage technology to automate and efficiently deliver, track and measure outcomes of our talent programs

Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to clearly define requirements and create/source practical solutions to support enterprise talent management needs

Support vendor relationships for TC’s talent management offerings to ensure an effective and consistent client experience

Informally coach and support the development of HR colleagues in talent processes and programs as appropriate

Duties:
-
Applies expert TM knowledge to prepare and deliver plans for large scale and complex programs and initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups and levels of the organization including senior leadership.

Follows best practice standards and principles; utilizes or modifies available tools and services to implement a structured best fit change approach within a program or initiative

Completes and assesses detailed change impact and stakeholder analyses
-
Oversees and/or performs the required communication, training and other change management activities
-
May be required to prepare key stakeholders to present TM deliverables such as communications and presentations or training

Partners with Human Resources consultants, OCM and COEs, and/or project teams to develop and deliver holistic/integrated TM solutions, including:

Appropriate communications and learning approaches
-
Effective risk management/mitigation to support for leaders in talent programs and initiatives

An aligned approach to talent programs and projects design
-
Provides progress reports to leadership
-
Facilitates and consults with stakeholders to gain understanding, approval and engagement of the business needs

Provides advice and support to leadership, TM team and others identified through stakeholder assessment
-
Continuously assesses potential issues/risks, conflicting priorities, and opportunities for integration across multiple concurrent programs/initiatives, and raise these to leadership

Evaluates the success of Talent Management activities and provides progress reports to the broad set of stakeholders

Facilitates and guides process owners on long term sustainment to operationalize and embed programs and initiatives

Continually builds knowledge and acumen in all aspects of the organization, the business, our processes and systems

Supports the objectives of the company corporate organizational talent management function through:

Sharing of expertise and best practices
-
Adoption of corporate TM, communications and learning & development standards

Contribution to the continual improvement of the corporate TM methodology and tools
-
Active participation in the broader TM community of practice

Championing the role of the TM function.
Qualifications
-
15 years of Senior Leadership Advisory & Executive experience) providing progress reports, risk mitigation strategies, and strategic advice to senior executives
-
Experience with designing, deploying, and sustaining enterprise-wide talent programs.

Large-Scale Change Management & OCM (Experience) experience conducting change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses, ability to build training and communication plans that help leaders and employees adopt new HR processes.

Analytics & Pipeline Insights experience using talent data and metrics to report on the health of the leadership pipeline or evaluate program success.

Cross-Functional Partnering & HRBP Collaboration, experience with consulting with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), project teams, and internal stakeholders to define business requirements and build fit-for-purpose solutions.

HR Technology Optimization & Vendor Management experience working with HRIS/talent platforms (like Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.) to optimize workflows. Briefly note your history of managing vendor relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of external talent offerings.

Education and Certifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resouce Management, Business Administration / Commerce, Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Organizational Development (OD) or Social Sciences or related

CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) (nice to have)
