Personalized Closets builds custom closets, laundry rooms, pantries, mudrooms, media walls and feature walls in Calgary. We're growing and taking on more work, so we're adding an installer to the team — every day, sometimes Saturdays. This isn't seasonal: we're looking for someone to work with us all year, long term.
The work: Install custom closets and built-ins from our drawings. Simpler than kitchen millwork. Most jobs are 1–2 days.
What matters most to us: we need someone quick who still can't bring himself to leave a bad job behind. Tight reveals, level runs, doors and drawers aligned, nothing marked or damaged. And when you pack up, the space is clean and finished — the customer walks in impressed and can start using it that day. Speed and finish both count; we won't trade one for the other.
You don't need 20 years. One year of cabinet, millwork or finish carpentry experience is enough. Custom closets have their own way of being installed and we'll teach you our system — we'd rather show you how we do it than untrain someone who's set in another shop's habits.
How it works: Not payroll. We give you the job with the price for it up front. When the job's done, we pay. Most days land at $250–$350.
You need: own tools, a truck or van, Class 5, able to read installation drawings and lift 50 lbs.
If you have photos of work you've done, send a few with your application — phone pictures are fine. Close-ups of your finishing tell us more than wide shots. Not required, but it's the fastest way for us to see what you can do.
