InHaus Cooking is a growing private chef, catering, and hospitality company based in Ottawa. Since 2019, we have built a reputation for exceptional food, professionalism, and creating memorable experiences for our clients. Our work includes private dining, corporate catering, weddings, special events, and our lunch bistro in Kanata.
We are looking for a full-time Cook / Chef to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in their work.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and execute high-quality food for private dining events, weddings, corporate catering, and our bistro operations
- Assist with menu preparation, daily production, and event execution
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, baked goods, and other menu items for our bistro and corporate
- Support off-site catering events and private chef services
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Assist with inventory management and receiving deliveries
- Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure exceptional client experiences
- Contribute ideas for new menu items and seasonal offerings
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Culinary education is an asset but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability for occasional evenings and weekends

Location: Kanata, ONJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Primarily daytime Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends based on events.
