Since 2009, we’ve been a trusted supplier to Calgary’s top home builders and contractors. We manufacture, assemble, and distribute standard and custom pre-hung door units, mouldings, locks, bathroom accessories, and hardware.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shipping Supervisor to oversee shipping operations and ensure products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time.
What You’ll Do
As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping activities, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics. You will play a key role in maintaining productivity, quality, and safety within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate shipping activities with other work units or departments
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review the work of shipping and warehouse staff
- Establish work schedules and procedures to meet operational requirements
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Prepare and submit reports on shipping operations and performance
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper documentation of shipments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Solid understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and logistics coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to communicate fluently in Punjabi is considered an asset
