We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fueling needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station premises, including the convenience store area.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Promote sales of products and services available at the gas station.
- Monitor fuel levels and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on technology sales being a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls and inquiries.
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory and store appearance effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
