Xcel Automation Ltd. is currently seeking Senior Control System Programmers to join our team. Specializing in oil & gas, solid wood, and water treatment industries, we provide Industrial Automation and SCADA solutions to Western Canada.
Ideal candidates will be responsible, motivated individuals that are excited to join an ever-growing, enthusiastic automation team that provides a full spectrum of automation knowledge within our group.
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
- Rockwell Automation software (FactoryTalk View SE, ME, and legacy)
- Allen Bradley PLC Programming (Studio5000, Logix5000, RSLogix500, and RSLogix5).
- Experience with other automation systems including Cygnet SCADA, Schneider/Modicon, VTScada, GeoScada, DeltaV, Honeywell Experion/TDC3000, and Wonderware is an asset.
- Knowledgeable with OT/Automation industrial data communications and networking architecture would be an asset.
- Experience in medium to large scale oil & gas processing facilities also considered an asset.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
This is a full-time position with preferred candidates being local to Xcel’s office in Grande Prairie. This position could include remote work. We offer very competitive employee or contractor wages.
