What You’ll Do
This is a diverse, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be involved in:
- Metal fabrication and assembly
- Operating hand and power tools
- Cutting, fitting, grinding, and preparing materials
- Manual MIG welding and fabrication support
- Operating equipment such as:
- Magnetic drill
- Band saw
- Plasma cutter
- Torch cutter
- Grinders and other fabrication tools
- Forklift operation and material handling
- Shipping and receiving of shop materials and equipment
- Loading, unloading, and organizing materials safely and efficiently
- Assisting with robotic welding and laser welding operations
- Learning and supporting new automation technologies and fabrication processes
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Participating in Weldmatic’s safety program and following safe work practices at all times

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn new technologies
- Good verbal communication skills in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Safety-minded with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable using fabrication hand tools and shop equipment
- Basic MIG welding experience
- Ability to lift materials and work in a physically active environment

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
