Job Summary
At Holiday Inn & Suites, we pride ourselves on delivering a consistently welcoming and reliable guest experience. We are currently seeking a Breakfast Buffet Attendant to support our morning operations and help set the tone for each guest’s day.
This position is part-time on Saturdays and Sundays, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours Monday to Friday based on business needs.
The Breakfast Buffet Attendant is responsible for ensuring the breakfast experience is delivered in line with brand standards, with a strong focus on presentation, cleanliness, and guest engagement. This role goes beyond buffet maintenance—it plays a key part in creating a warm, attentive, and memorable start to our guests’ day.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the restaurant and breakfast buffet each morning
- Welcome guest with a warm, genuine smile
- Provide attentive breakfast service
- Maintain and replenish the buffet throughout service
- Keep the dining room clean and organized
- Tear down and reset the restaurant and buffet after breakfast
Requirements
- Strong understanding of service standards, food safety, and cleanliness expectations
- Professional, outgoing, and guest-focused approach - loves to provide exceptional guest service
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detailed oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- Is familiar with hotel operations and ideally the Holiday Inn & Suites/IHG brand
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Availability: Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday (6:00am-12:00pm). Must be able to work past September 2026.
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $19.00 per hour
