Job Summary
At Holiday Inn & Suites, we pride ourselves on delivering a consistently welcoming and reliable guest experience. We are currently seeking a Breakfast Buffet Attendant to support our morning operations and help set the tone for each guest’s day.
This position is part-time on Saturdays and Sundays, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours Monday to Friday based on business needs.
The Breakfast Buffet Attendant is responsible for ensuring the breakfast experience is delivered in line with brand standards, with a strong focus on presentation, cleanliness, and guest engagement. This role goes beyond buffet maintenance—it plays a key part in creating a warm, attentive, and memorable start to our guests’ day.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet in accordance with brand and hotel standards
- Ensure all food and beverage offerings are presented to specification and maintained throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet, dining area, and back-of-house spaces
- Proactively engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner, anticipating and responding to their needs
- Monitor product levels and communicate effectively with the kitchen and leadership team
- Support a smooth and efficient service flow during peak periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel environment, preferably with a paid breakfast buffet
- Strong understanding of service standards, food safety, and cleanliness expectations
- Professional, outgoing, and guest-focused approach
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
