Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized food truck Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences through attentive service, food handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties
- Greet and assist guests promptly, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including meal preparation and barista duties if applicable
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with attention to accuracy and security
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling, cooking, and food safety practices to ensure quality standards are met
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed
- Restock supplies and ensure all areas are organized for efficient service
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation are advantageous
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, or barista work is beneficial
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be an asset
- Reliable, team-oriented attitude with a positive approach to guest interactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed
