Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant/Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of laundry areas and guest linens, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to clean linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and workspaces
- Ensure all linens are properly sanitized, pressed, and stored for timely distribution
- Assist with general cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas as needed
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as necessary
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
