A central Alberta based oil and gas service company is looking for production well testing supervisors and operators.
Supervisor Qualifications:
The successful candidate will supervise field operators and act as a role model for company employees. Familiarity with oil and gas rules and regulations including OH&S guidelines is a must. This field-based position works shift work and includes travel and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- minimum 1-2 years well testing experience- ability and patience to be a guide and mentor to other less experienced employees
- valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License; current driver's abstract and own reliable vehicle
- basic computer skills
- strong verbal and written communication, trouble shooting skills
- detail oriented, self-motivated and able to accommodate shifting priorities
Work Experience:
- working knowledge of oil and gas regulations, including WCB & OH&S
- experience working hand in hand with safety personnel and field consultants
Duties and Responsibilities:
- prepare daily field tickets
- ensure work meets specifications and legislated regulations
- write daily reports and submit to operations manager
- be a leader and role model for all field personnel
- lead and participate in safety programs
- co-ordinate interactions with staff and external customers
- participate in safety and planning meetings
Operators Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,803.45-$185,541.14 per year
