Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming dining experience for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in hospitality or the food industry
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Basic math skills for billing, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food safety protocols is desirable
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. MUST be available weekends.
