Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced 4th Year Electrician or Journeyman to join our skilled electrical team. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, schematic interpretation, and hands-on experience with a variety of electrical tools and equipment. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and device mounting.
- Conduct renovations and upgrades of existing electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques to ensure minimal downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Assist with the installation of control panels, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding complex schematics for industrial electrical systems.
- Extensive experience as an industrial electrician or journeyman with a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, and multimeters; familiar with power tools for conduit cutting and drilling.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control wiring.
- Experience with construction sites, renovation projects, or maintenance environments involving electrical systems.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting across various systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately for efficient installation and repair work.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
