About the Role
As a Mover’s Crew with AMJ, you’ll work closely with our driver and other crew members to ensure the safe loading and unloading of our trucks and vault containers at customer homes, offices, and in our warehouse. You’ll help wrap and protect furniture and goods, handle equipment, and deliver excellent service with a positive attitude.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with loading and unloading vaults, furniture, and boxes at customer locations and in the warehouse.
- Use equipment (dollies, straps, blankets, etc.) to move and protect items safely.
- Help wrap, pad, and secure client property for storage and transportation.
- Work as part of a 3-person team to complete moves efficiently and carefully.
- Support with vault organization, basic inventory, and paperwork as required.
- Provide friendly, respectful customer service at every job.
What We’re Looking For
- Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs/23 kg) repeatedly.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills.
- Previous moving, warehouse, or labour experience an asset—but not required.
- Flexibility for early starts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
