Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The successful candidate will create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to a positive, Christ-centered workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs based on the interests and needs of children.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual growth.
- Maintain open and professional communication with families.
- Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and centre policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional care and education.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and centre events.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's How Does Learning Happen? framework.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A passion for working with children and supporting families.
