About the Role
We’re seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and compassionate sales professional who thrives in a people-first environment.
As a Retail Floor Associate, you are the welcoming face of our store and the trusted guide our customers rely on. You will collaborate closely with your team to build meaningful relationships and deliver tailored health product solutions.
You will develop expertise in products including:
- Orthopedic bracing
- Compression garments
- Mobility aids
- Wound care
- Continence care
This role blends sales, service, and technical knowledge. You will educate, assess, measure, and fit customers with products that truly enhance their quality of life.
What You’ll DoCustomer-Centric Sales
- Build positive and empathetic customer relationships
- Assess needs and recommend personalized solutions
- Deliver clear, confident product education
- Upsell and cross-sell appropriate products and services
Product Expertise
- Develop strong technical knowledge of home medical products
- Accurately measure and fit customers
- Educate customers on proper use and maintenance
Merchandising
- Maintain fresh, fully stocked, visually appealing, and organized displays
Order & Inventory Management
- Process payments and customer orders accurately
- Manage pickups, backorders, and returns
- Maintain precise customer records
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment
Value-Added Services
- Coordinate equipment rentals
- Support basic mobility safety assessments
- Confidently refer customers to specialized services (e.g., ostomy consultation, home modification services)
Team Collaboration
- Contribute to a positive, performance-driven team culture
- Share knowledge and collaborate across departments to enhance the customer experience
Skills & Abilities
You are:

You are also physically capable of:
- Safely lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods
Education & Experience
- High school diploma (required)
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Point-of-sale experience (Shopify POS is an asset)
- Experience in upselling, cross-selling, and merchandising
- Healthcare or medical-related training is considered an asset
- Standard First Aid certification is an asset
