About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to support our compliance activities under Health Canada Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in regulatory compliance and directly support Health Canada inspections. You will work closely with senior quality leadership, including the Quality Managers and the lead responsible for Health Canada inspections, contributing to maintaining a strong and inspection-ready quality system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation and coordination of Health Canada inspections and audits
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs and logs
- Track and follow up on deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
- Assist with document control and ensure records are accurate and inspection-ready
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect and organize compliance evidence
- Participate in internal audits and routine GMP compliance checks (after training)
- Monitor and escalate compliance gaps or documentation issues
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related field)
- 0–2 years of experience in a regulated or GMP environment (co-op/internship experience considered)
- Basic understanding of GMP principles is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and ability to follow through on tasks
