We are looking to add a highly motivated individual to our dynamic optometric team as an Optician. At our office, we are committed to providing exceptional eye care to the Sherwood Park community and to creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient who walks through our doors. We take pride in going above and beyond to ensure our patients feel well cared for and truly enjoy their visits with us.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and assisting at front desk.
- Discussing eyewear and lens offerings with the patient based on their lifestyle demands and budget.
- Dispensing frames and lenses.
- Educating patients on the newest eyewear technologies and products available.
- Submitting insurance claims and receiving payments.
- Edging lenses for eyewear.
- Adjusting and repairing eyewear.
- Becoming cross-trained on front desk duties including scheduling and pretesting patients.
Qualifications
- Licensed Optician
- Excellent communication and phone skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and customer service oriented.
