As we expand, Trek is seeking a Project Manager to support our technical teams by ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and within budget.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing projects from initiation to completion. This role bridges communication between engineers, clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring operational efficiency. TREK is seeking candidates with demonstrated successful project management experience through delivery of projects of varying size and complexity in any market section. Preference will be given to those with project experience where muti-disciplinary technical teams have been central to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project lifecycles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Coordinate fieldwork logistics (drilling schedules, site access, permits, safety, etc.)
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor budgets, review invoices, and support financial reporting
- Assist in proposal preparation, contract administration, and project documentation
- Identify risks and proactively resolve issues impacting project timelines or costs
- Maintain organized records of reports, correspondence, and regulatory documentation
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience (engineering, construction, or consulting industry is an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience managing budgets and schedules
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to understand and coordinate technical workflows
- PMP certification is an asset but not required
