Job Overview
We are seeking a few temporary crew members to support greenhouse operations during planting and harvesting periods. This role involves hands-on work related to both planting and harvesting activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting activities, including filling pots with soil, setting up irrigation tubs, and general greenhouse cleaning
- Support harvesting activities, including removing plants and soil from pots and disposing of them in designated outdoor bins
- Clean and maintain the greenhouse workspace
- Washing and sanitizing pots, trays, and related equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to work under grow LED lights
- Comfort working in warm greenhouse conditions and outdoors in cold weather during harvesting and disposal tasks
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting bags weighing up to 50–60 pounds
Work Schedule:
- This is a temporary, as-needed position tied to planting and harvesting activities
- Work hours are not fixed and will vary by month
- The estimated workload is approximately five to six days every three months
