Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Camp Program Coordinator to coordinate and facilitate summer camp activities for our campers at Round the Bend Farm Camp. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and think ahead. This role involves planning, prepping and leading crafts, and executing a variety of tasks around the farm to create an ideal environment to run the camp program and ensure it runs smoothly. Reporting to the Camp Director, the Camp Program Coordinator will serve as a positive role model and ensure that all campers have an enriching, engaging, experience throughout the camp session.
Responsibilities
- Use the daily schedule to prep and setup crafts for camper groups each day in an organized manner.
- Moniter Camp Garden: water on a scheduled basis, and let director know when vegetables are ready to pick.
- Prep Planting Area for planting
- Manage supplies, equipment, and materials needed for various activities.
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing camp rules and safety protocols at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to camp operations
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to think ahead and set up activities in advance.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, campers and parents
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during scheduled camp hours.
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay: $500.00 per week
