ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton is seeking a hands-on, experienced IT Technician.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Technician to join our Edmonton team. The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring employees have the technology resources they need to perform their work effectively.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, mobile devices, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees by preparing and recovering technology assets.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Document IT issues, resolutions, and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required.
- Participate in ERP system enhancements, upgrades, and future software implementation projects.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or a related field is considered an asset. Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation may be required.
