Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing service operations on High Rise residential and Commercial Industrial. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to manage teams effectively. This role involves coordinating plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. The Plumbing Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality service & workmanship and efficient job execution.
Duties
- Mentors, schedules, and supervises plumbing staff, conducting performance evaluations.
- Able to go to sites and troubleshoot and quote jobs including all takeoffs
- Oversees daily service call operations, coordinates with other trades, and ensures jobs meet deadlines.
- Inspects work, troubleshoots complex issues, and reads blueprints or schematics.
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing service work on sites, ensuring jobs are completed on time and within scope
- Oversee the installation, repair, service and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all job sites
- Manage team members, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed
- Collaborate with managers, contractors, and clients to meet project requirements
- Orders materials, maintains inventory, and manages equipment, including vehicles.
- Conduct inspections to verify quality of work and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety protocols followed
- Assist on jobs for additional help if needed
- Able to do with heavy lifting tasks and construction activities requiring physical strength and endurance
Requirements
- Valid plumbing license and Backflow Certificate certification.
- Minimum 10 years of plumbing experience, with 1–2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of quoting daily jobs of plumbing systems, PRVs, DHW Mixing Valves & BFPs diagnostic tools, and safety protocols
- Proven experience in plumbing, construction, or related trades with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
- Proficiency in Computer skills, such as Microsoft Word, Emails, Office service Programs
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
