Job Summary
Kitchen Suppression Inspector includes the following responsibilities:
- Inspecting and maintaining commercial kitchen suppression systems to ensure proper function and compliance with NFPA and local fire codes.
- Conducting discharge tests and servicing components as needed.
- Completing inspection documentation using mobile software and submitting reports in a timely manner.
- Educating clients on system operation and maintenance requirements.
- Identifying code compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Installation and alterations on new installs and current kitchen suppression retrofits.
- Possessing mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely in confined and commercial kitchen spaces.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and using ladders or lifts.
- Possessing a clean driving record. Company issued vehicle will be provided.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection/reporting software.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
These responsibilities ensure that kitchen suppression systems are functioning correctly and that safety standards are met, contributing to the overall safety of commercial kitchens.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
