About the Role
We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining our fleet of trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment, with a focus on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Uphold company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and scheduled maintenance programs
Diagnose malfunctions and faults in equipment
Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
Interpret work orders and manuals accurately
Prepare detailed service reports
Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and legislative regulations
Qualifications
Journeyman Certification (required)
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Experience with hydraulic systems is an asset
Background in the disposal industry is an asset
Valid Class 3 Driver’s License preferred
Basic computer skills for documentation
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Familiarity with engine and electrical systems is an asset
Experience with Cummins INSITE is an asset
