Leasing Coordinator Lead
The Leasing Coordinator assists with the organization and management of Mosaic’s Residential Rental Properties. Key duties include leading the leasing team, property tours, marketing homes, and supporting leasing operations across all sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing/Leasing
- Promote Mosaic’s Residential Portfolio to find great residents. This includes advertising and marketing available homes for rent.
- Monitor and respond to all inbound leasing inquiries.
- Manage inbound leasing activities including online postings, signage, other referral sources and community marketing.
- Be the first point of contact for prospective residents. Determine needs and preferences, qualify and professionally present the community and specific home to prospects.
- After suitable initial qualification, turn prospect interest into a formal lease application.
- Provide service and assistance to make the application and approval process as frictionless as possible.
- Complete all lease paperwork, including related addenda and accept deposits.
- Ensure all pre-move in requirements have been satisfied prior to all move-ins or key pickups.
- Assist with showing suites to prospective residents and assist with applications.
- Organize and file appropriate leases, and paperwork.
- Coordinate resident move-in experience, including elevator scheduling with the onsite Resident Service Manager.
- Inspect properties when on the grounds and ensure peerless presentation. Report any service needs to the appropriate colleague.
- Oversee, update, and maintain Resident and Leasing Portals to ensure consistency across all site colleagues.
- Help lead and support the P/T leasing coordinator’s including schedule recommendations for the leasing manager.
Analyst Support:
- Prepare daily reports, market studies, etc.
- Utilize and maintain leasing data within our property management software, Buildium.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, retail or hospitality is an asset. Flexible to work variety of schedules including weekends.
- Undergraduate degree in business or a related field.
- Valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle. Comfortable driving to sites around the Lower Mainland.
- Excellent time management skills. Able to prioritize work tasks independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to deal with prospects in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner. Service with a smile, but firm yet friendly when needed.
- You are comfortable using Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe effectively. Experience using Buildium or any property management software is an asset.
