Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, answer questions, and promote menu items
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes
- Experience in the food industry demonstrates familiarity with hospitality standards and guest interaction skills
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
