Summary
We are seeking a Child Care Facility Manager to oversee our Fort Langley centre. It is a smaller centre that runs two programs- Junior Kindergarten and School age program. There are 18 children in the Junior Kindergarten and 18 in the school age. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of quality early childhood education aligned with our mission to support children's development. You will be responsible for managing 5-8 staff.
Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the Junior K program. ( there is a separate supervisor for the school age program)

Supervise staff and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.

Coordinate curriculum implementation and activities.

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Ensure staff adhere to health and safety regulations.

Support staff development and training.

Monitor program quality and implement improvements.

Qualifications
-
Proven classroom experience in early childhood education ( Reggio experience an asset)

Experience working with children, including those with disabilities.

Valid first aid certification.

Criminal record check clearance.

Assistant ECE license or ECE license is required.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
