D.C.L. Woodworking Limited is a Brampton-based custom millwork business serving residential and commercial customers throughout the G.T.A. We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Marker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high quality cabinets.
Responsibilities
- Construct cabinets according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize various woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure DCL standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required during the construction and assembly processes.
Skills
- Minimum 5 years as cabinet maker or similar woodworking experience.
- Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately interpret design plans.
- Good knowledge of cabinet construction; kitchens, vanities, customer millwork
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to keeping a clean, and organized workspace, and care for equipment provided
- Coachable personality and open communication between colleagues and management
- Ability to ask for help and check with more experienced team members for understanding
