About The Position:
MindSeed is seeking DBT Therapists to provide Individual DBT Psychotherapy and facilitating 24 week DBT Groups.
Applicants must be registered in Ontario as a Psychotherapist, Psychologist or Social Worker (MSW).
Both part-time & full time hours are available. Please note this is an independent contractor position.

Commitment & Fit (Please Read Carefully)
To ensure alignment with our model and team structure, the following expectations are central to this role:
- This role is designed for clinicians who are looking to integrate into a collaborative practice, rather than build or actively grow a separate private practice alongside it.
- Weekly group consultation (Fridays 9:30–11:00am EST) is required and non-negotiable.
Position Description:
- Delivering DBT psychotherapy to individuals and in group settings.
- Prepare reports and maintain client records as required by your respective College.
- Remote in Ontario.
- Flexible daytime, evening hours and/or weekends, part-time to full-time.
- Start date: May/June 2026.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of direct clinical experience in providing individual, couples and/or group therapy.
- Minimum 3+ years delivering DBT therapy
- Formal training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) through recognized programs, in -house training, or expreince at your place of work.
- Experience facilitating 24- week DBT skills groups and/or integrating DBT into individual psychotherapy.
- Experience working with borderline personality disorder, emotion dysregulation, suicidality, self-harm, and complex trauma.
- Expereience providing stage 1 stabilization treatment.
- Registered in good standing with your respective College.
- Have professional liability insurance.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Have flexibility in work hours/days of the week.
- Looking to become part of a larger multimodal trauma-informed therapy team.
Experience:
MindSeed will select candidates who can demonstrate a strong foundation for working with a range of issues, including the following: trauma, simple and complex PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, self-harm, suicidality, disordered eating, anger management, sex & intimacy, addictions, substance & alcohol use.
Assets:
- Experience in any of the following additional modalities - trauma-based, somatic, mindfulness, psychodynamic,, DBR, Gestalt, IFS, CPT, EMDR, & Brainspotting.
- Working with couples and/or families.
- Fluency in a second language such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Farsi, Arabic, Bengali.
