Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Truck Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This dual-role position involves safe and efficient delivery of goods, as well as supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with warehouse tasks, and the ability to handle physical demands such as heavy lifting and moving items. A valid commercial driver’s license and forklift experience are preferred to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of items within the warehouse environment
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with inventory management systems
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not required; training can be provided for qualified candidates
- Commercial driving experience with a valid license is essential for safe vehicle operation
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and moving large or bulky items
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to warehouse work and commercial driving is preferred
