We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that each customer has a memorable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist with food preparation and handling, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any questions about menu items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with food preparation and food service is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle food safely in accordance with health regulations.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
