Lakeview Bookkeeping is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team.
This is a unique role that combines administrative support, bookkeeping assistance, and office coordination. While you will be employed by Lakeview Bookkeeping, your primary workspace will be within one of our client's offices, a small, established construction company in Kelowna.
This is not a corporate office.
It's a laid-back construction environment where no two days are exactly the same. One minute you might be entering invoices, the next you're helping track down paperwork, dropping a cheque at the bank, assisting with project documentation, or supporting the bookkeeping team with client work.

What You'll Be Doing:
Administrative Support
- Answering phones and assisting with general office inquiries
- Receiving and organizing mail and deliveries
- Filing and document management
- Printing reports and assisting management with administrative requests
- Taking deposits and cheques to the bank as required
- Assisting with construction documentation and statutory declarations
- Maintaining organized digital and paper filing systems
Bookkeeping Support
- Data entry
- Entering invoices and bills
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Maintaining organized financial records
- Supporting bookkeeping projects for multiple clients as needed
- General administrative support for the Lakeview Bookkeeping team
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills
- Previous administrative or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Sage and QuickBooks Online are a must
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Adobe etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Bonus Points If You Have
- Payroll experience
- Experience working in the construction industry

Location: Kelowna, BC
Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Ideally 3–5 days per week, approximately 7:30am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:00pm
