Licensed Driving Instructor — Per-Lesson Pay (London, ON)
Pathway Driving School is hiring an MTO-licensed Driving Instructor to join our growing London team. We're known for a 94% first-try pass rate, modern dual-control vehicles, and a supportive dispatch team that keeps your schedule full.
What you'll do
- Deliver in-car driving lessons (G2 and G) to new and returning students
- Coach learners on safe driving habits, defensive driving, and road test routes
- Provide clear, encouraging feedback after every lesson
- Keep accurate lesson records in our scheduling app
Compensation
- Per-lesson commission — $30–$45 per completed in-car lesson (paid weekly via direct deposit)
- Most active instructors complete 15–25 lessons/week
- $200 referral bonus for every instructor you refer who passes onboarding
- Top-performer monthly bonuses
Schedule
- Flexible — you choose your hours
- Evenings and weekends available (highest demand)
- Typical commitment: 15–30 hours/week
Requirements
- Valid MTO Driving Instructor License (or willing to obtain — we'll guide you)
- Full Ontario G license held for 4+ years
- Clean driver's abstract (last 3 years)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willing to complete)
- English; second language is a strong asset
Nice to have
- 1+ year of prior driving instruction experience
- Beginner Driver Education (BDE) certification
- Familiarity with London-area road test routes
