AK Brown is looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyperson to join our growing Life Safety team.
This is a unique opportunity to work in the specialized field of fire and life safety, with responsibilities including:
- Fire damper inspections and testing
- Smoke control system inspections and maintenance
- Firestopping inspections and repairs
- Smoke containment and prevention systems
- Working closely with building owners, contractors, and our technical team to help keep buildings safe and code compliant
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 3rd or 4th year sheet metal experience (or is a Journeyperson)
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is dependable, organized, and safety-focused
- Has strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Is eager to learn and expand their knowledge in the life safety industry
