At Noodlebox Penticton, we truly like people (and food) + we enjoy creating an experience for your guests. We are looking for entry level part-time Line Cook to add to our fun-loving and guest focused team.
Noodlebox was born out of a small food cart in Victoria BC's Chinatown in 2001. Our unique style of wok-fired Asian street food became so popular that people were willing to wait hours in the rain to get their fill. Now in Penticton, BC to continue to deliver on our mission of Real Food, Made Fresh, With Fire.

You must be willing and able to:
- Stand and move for most - if not all - of your shift.
- Lift up to 60lbs, now and then.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces and spices.
- Able to learn and use restaurant equipment such as hot woks, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Prepare and cook dishes by following recipes and adhering to food safety standards.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Monitor food and supplies inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the manager.
- Maintain records of food waste; stock rotation of first in, first out.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation for dine-in and take-out.
- Maintain clear & respectful communication with all members of the team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist with training new kitchen staff.
- Follow all brand guidelines and standards.
What we need from you:
- Must be available to work weekday and weekend morning shifts. Flexibility with scheduling is needed.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
- Food Safe certificate required (will pay for course if needed).
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Eligibility to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, permanent resident or holding valid work permits).
