MOLD DESIGNER (CIMATRON)
Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has a Senior Mold Designer role in Windsor/Essex, with experience in plastic injection mold design, for the automotive industry. MUST have experience using Cimatron design software and have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years work experience in mold design of automotive plastic injection molds
- Complete full plastic injection mold designs
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies
- MUST be proficient using Cimatron CAD software
- MUST have some Surfacing experience
- Provide technical input during tool builds, trials and validation
- Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- MUST have a valid drivers’ license and your own reliable transportation
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design or related field
