Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with additional duties such as laundry or inventory management when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
