Job Title: Housekeeper
Job Type: Part-time, seasonal (end November)
- Part-time, but could be up to 6 days a week.
- 30-50 hours per week; depending on week.
About the Position:
Looking to hire a housekeeper. Employee must be dependable, efficient, trustworthy, and personable. Wage starts at $21+ an hour depending on experience. This seasonal contract ends on November 23rd.
Employee would need their own transportation to & from resort. A bachelor suite cabin is available if needed.
Duties:
- Clean and prepare guest cabins
- Make beds, change linens and towels and restock supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all cabin surfaces and washrooms
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry including bedding and towels
- Ensure all cleaning is completed according to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and other projects as needed
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude when interacting with guests
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently, or part of a team efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Physically able to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
