Opening Shift Catering Cook / Kitchen Team Supervisor
Casalinga Catering Company is looking for a reliable, experienced, and energetic team member to join our growing catering operation.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Occasional earlier start times may be required depending on catering functions and event schedules.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food for corporate events, weddings, conferences, and special occasions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble catering orders
- Follow prep lists and production schedules
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Package and label catering orders accurately
- Assist with loading catering deliveries
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained
- Work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
- Support the catering and production team as needed
Requirements
- Previous catering experience is required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Transit is not available during our early start times
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Punctual and dependable
