We are seeking a skilled Arcade Technician to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of arcade gaming equipment. Duties
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on arcade machines, including video games, pinball machines, and redemption games
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend lifespan
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Replace or repair components such as circuit boards, wiring, monitors, and control panels
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment for safety and operational standards
- Collaborate with vendors or manufacturers for specialized repairs or parts procurement
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
- Assist in setting up new arcade machines and ensuring proper calibration for optimal performance
Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and low voltage electrical systems
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for repairs and adjustments
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for electronic gaming equipment
- Basic understanding of computer networking to troubleshoot connectivity issues between machines or systems
- Knowledge of circuit boards, wiring diagrams, and electrical safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
