Summary
We are seeking dedicated hospitality professionals to join our team as a Cold End or Hot End Cook at Outback Steakhouse Niagara Falls, located on Fallsview Boulevard!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and portioning of food items prior to cooking
- Plating and garnishing cooked items.
- Maintaining a sanitary kitchen workstation.
- Ability to prepare food for consumption with background knowledge of proper techniques and equipment to be used.
- Completing assigned opening/closing duties.
- Having a thorough knowledge of all menu items.
- Preparing and cooking menu items.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of all food procedures of the kitchen and reporting any discrepancies.
- Having a thorough knowledge of all menu items.
- Practicing kitchen safety in the area and while using all equipment.
- All other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen.
- Knowledge of industry standards on food storage and handling techniques is highly desirable.
- Great multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Commitment to succeed in a team-orientated environment.
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
