StrongKey, a 25 year old data security company with offices in California, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico, is looking for motivated and detail oriented Support Engineers to join our team. We are building out our Support team in Calgary, and are looking for candidates who are excited about cutting edge technology, data security, and building some of the most secure applications in the world!
StrongKey is dedicated to making the highest levels of security available to organizations of all sizes, and we need several qualified Support Engineers to help with customer deliveries. If you meet most or all of the below requirements, we'd love to schedule a conversation with you:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Good English communication skills - written and spoken
- Familiarity with Operating System Fundamentals, Network Protocols (TCP/IP), Application Protocols (HTTP & SOAP), Java Programming Language
- Highly desired are familiarity with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Public Key/Symmetric Cryptography/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Eventually, the individual hired will:
- Lead customer deployments & troubleshoot existing deployments
- Assist Engineering leadership with installation, maintenance, and upgrades of customer solutions
- Integrate software modules into a packaged application for installation and deployment on new computer servers for customers
- Work with specialized hardware and software (Hardware Security Modules, Trusted Platform Modules, Smartcards, and FIDO Authenticators), and understand how they integrate into our products and services.
- Develop documentation on complex cryptographic operations
- Travel to customer sites when necessary to install and configure products.
This role will be primarily remote in the short term, with potential to be hybrid/in-person in 2027 if StrongKey decides to open physical office in Calgary.
