Job Summary
One of our clients is seeking skilled Sewing Machine Operators. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial sewing environment and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Pay: $17.70/hour - $23/hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, hem, or assemble fabric pieces according to specifications.
- Follow patterns, templates, and production guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines, such as threading, replacing needles, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality control and smooth workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is preferred, either on single- needle or Serge Machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
