Strongwood Construction Inc. is an award-winning locally owned professional design and renovation company specializing in high quality residential renovations.
Applicant must be versatile in residential renovation, from demolition to completion.
Applicant must have experience in the residential construction industry and/or renovation experience with framing, window and door installation, kitchen cabinet installation, bathroom renovations, and finish carpentry.
Applicant must be proficient in reviewing forecasted timeframes, equipment, and supply requirements to complete projects consistent with budget and work scope.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience in residential construction and renovations. Requires journeyman status OR 5+ years experience.
- Must have their own truck/transportation (vehicle allowance provided) and possess a full complement of appropriate field tools.
- Must be reliable; able to work a 40-44 hour week.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, in a team environment, while executing timely completion of assigned work order tasks.
- Must be proficient with relevant municipal and provincial building code regulations as it relates to building construction and repairs.
- Must provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and Management expectations.
- Ability to multitask, problem solve, and demonstrate professionalism in high pressure situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
