Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, comprehensive construction knowledge, and proficiency with industry-specific management tools. The Construction Site Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, supervising teams, and maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking, documentation, and scheduling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and regulations.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and assisting with construction estimating processes.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular site inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, change orders, and other project documentation.
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues promptly.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and construction estimating techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and coordination using Primavera P6 or similar software.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
